The Reapers are the Angels is a strikingly beautiful, poetic novel of a young woman finding her way in a world rife with both danger and beauty. Chill is the sequel to Dust, and it's a generation ship novel. A great choice for us adult fans of YA, as the book features a 15-year-old protaganist (Temple) who is insanely tough and likable. Temple wanders this blighted landscape, keeping to herself and keeping her demons inside her heart. Alden Bell's The Reapers are the Angels is a zombie novel, and therefore very much not my thing. What's remarkable about Temple is the way she views the world.
